This list was compiled by NW Speech Therapy.  It is based off of some of the favorite books reported by other parents and used by therapists.  Books can be expensive, if you are unable to afford to buy books, consider borrowring them from your local library!!  Sharing the experience of reading with your child teaches them so much!!  Read a book to your child TODAY!!

BASIC CONCEPTS (colors, numbers, ABC's, opposites, prepositions, categories, etc.) are important for your children to learn.  They help children build and use longer sentences and follow multi-step directions.
